Fees

Free. Each author with an ORCID iD can submit 3 new manuscripts a year, and up to 3 revisions of each manuscript at no cost.

No article processing charge for manuscripts submitted during our first three months. The date of submission counts, not the date of acceptance.

For later submissions, any charge will be published on this page before it applies, and is due only after acceptance. A waiver policy for authors who cannot pay will be published at the same time.

Every report is complete without them: all findings, every weakness in the design, each overstated sentence, the language verdict with one example rewrite, and the most important reporting gaps are always free. These services do the fixing for you. They are optional and never affect a decision, its speed or its priority.

• Revision help, $24. Every fix, shown in your report: fairer wording for overstated sentences, rewrites for unclear passages, a step-by-step plan to strengthen the paper, the full checklist ready to copy, and the closest related studies. You do the editing.
